Due to the accelerated increases in the price of maize has been generated the need to replace partial or fully this raw material in the diets of chickens by most available products and pricing that positively impact the profitability of the production process. Sorghum has been considered one of the alternatives in the formulation of concentrates for birds to replace corn. According to the above, it is important to define which is the appropriate level of use of this raw material in chickens for fattening foods. This study compared the effect include sorghum in the diet of broilers at three different levels on productive parameters.

MATERIALS AND METHODS
The evaluation was carried out on the experimental farm of Premex S.A. located in Fredonia Antioch Colombia.Se used 380 chickens males of a day of life Ross 308, divididosen 4 treatments of 95 chickens each one and 5 repetitions of 19 animals housed at a density of 10.79 chickens per square metre.The birds received food at will during the six-week evaluation period. Treatment 1: birds received a food based on corn worked the inclusion of sorghum in the food. Treatment 2: birds received a food with the inclusion of corn and sorghum 10% including…
